The Speech Language Pathologist’s responsibilities will begin with thorough assessments and new member evaluations, and carry through integrated care, interventions and ongoing review to ensure innovative, effective and quality treatment is delivered to all participants. Due to the hands-on nature of this role, the ability to develop and foster positive, caring, productive relationships with elderly members and their families is essential, as is the desire to work in a unique environment with a unique, integrated approach to care services. The Speech Language Pathologist will be a highly visible and critical member of the Senior LIFE team, with significant influence and input with regards to member and center-wide initiatives. All applicants must be Pennsylvania-licensed speech-language pathologists with ASHA certification, with at least one year of experience in this role for an elderly community. Candidates must have significant clinical competency with geriatric populations, plus a valid state driver’s license.
