Senior LIFE is an innovative home and community based Medicare and Medicaid funded program which provides all-inclusive healthcare services and support to seniors living in the community. Senior LIFE makes it possible for seniors to remain at home, enjoying the comfort and reassurance of familiar surroundings while receiving the care they need.  Senior LIFE staff live the mission of the program.  Our team is committed to partnering with our seniors to remain at home through promoting open communication and shared decision making while providing excellent care and services.

Responsibilities

This high-profile role requires a broad, strategic thinker and strong manager with an ongoing and well-proven track record of success across many non-traditional areas of business. Responsibilities include:

 

  • Developing and managing all external program relations within the immediate community, as well as across the state
  • Directing and supervising the Senior LIFE team, across all departments and interdisciplinary functions, including the development and dissemination of daily reporting and ongoing departmental/center update communications
  • Initiating and implementing all strategic planning processes, specifically related to the growth and expansion of Senior LIFE, the LIFE Center and the organization’s overarching mission
  • Overseeing enrollment status and ensuring the center meets its ongoing membership quotas
  • Identifying areas of improvement and cultivating comprehensive success plans to fill these specific community and center needs
  • Recruiting services, including working with department heads and agencies to find premier talent to fill open positions
  • Overseeing all contracts and financial obligations, and serving as the liaison for contracted services
  • Assuring Senior LIFE is in clear compliance with all state and federal regulations in addition to serving as the Chairperson for the Senior LIFE Fraud, Waste and Abuse Compliance Program

Qualifications

The Executive Director will report to the Senior LIFE Board of Directors and will be responsible for the overall fiscal solvency of the center, ensuring maximum viability through efficient, effective operations. A minimum of five years’ experience in health-care administration is highly preferred. A relevant bachelor’s or advanced degree is required. Candidates must be able to demonstrate a proven track record of strong program development, strategic planning, budgetary oversight, organizational, talent management and PR success.
